"A rich, open-textured white, with lemon, lime, apple and spice notes. Turns more elegant on the finish, offering toast and spice on the aftertaste, with a perception of light tannins. There's grip as well…."
Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles – 2007 – 96 points – Wine Enthusiast
“A powerful wine, showing rich, opulent Chardonnay. The spice and acidity crispen the wine, but leave the powerful fruit in all its glory.”
Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles – 2007 – 91 points – Wine & Spirits
“Hidden with oak structure, this golden wine has firmly structured fruit, with the broad, sumptuous flavor of ripe peach. The middle fills out and grows increasingly rich with air, though the fruit remains captive to the oak. A powerful 2007.”
Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles – 2007 – 94 points – The Wine Advocate
"Les Pucelles offers minerality, finesse, and lift…Seductive lily, heliotrope and iris along with high-toned herbal and pit fruit essences on the nose…bitter-sweet perfume and pure essence of peach and quince on a silken palate."
