Grande Réserve Brut

The Wine Advocate

Wafting from the glass with a generous bouquet of golden orchard fruit, dried white flowers, beeswax and fresh pastry, the new release of Gosset's NV Brut Grande Réserve is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and generous. Though it retains the house's signature incisive acids, it's unusually textural and enveloping out of the gates.

With some bottle age, this is a toasty, ripe wine. Perfumed and full of apple fruits as well as the more mature flavors, it is a great nonvintage cuvée. Drink now.

A tightly knit Champagne, backed by racy acidity, this is fresh and harmonious, with a finely detailed mousse and a delicate range of black raspberry, pickled ginger and chalk flavors, offering a touch of salted almond that echoes on the finish. Drink now through 2024.

This is very fresh and has attractively flavorful, punchy fruit presence, in a very pure mode. Strawberries and grapefruit and some pastry and spiced-biscuit to close. Drink now.
