Reviews

  • Bienvenues Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – 95 points – Wine Spectator Insider

"This is polished, with a creamy texture offset by racy structure. Lime blossom, lemon cake, hazelnut and peach flavors form the core, with bracing acidity driving the long, detailed finish."

  • Bienvenues Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – 94 – 96 points – The Wine Advocate

"…wonderful, complex bouquet with orange zest, apricot blossom, minerals and white peach that wafts enticingly…gathering momentum with aeration…The mineral-core is more pronounced …with a taut piercing finish that feels very persistent in the mouth."

  • Bienvenues Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru – 2012 – 92-95 points – Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar

"Tight, reserved nose hints at hazelnut and nutty oak; the fruit is shy today…Dense and tactile, with intense peach and lemon flavors supported by strong minerality. This rich wine boasts lovely balance from the outset…”
