Scott Diaz is the Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management for Wilson Daniels. During his nine years with the company, Scott has developed strategic marketing plans that have increased sales and enhanced brand awareness for a stable of luxury wines. He has worked closely with all of the brands in the Wilson Daniels portfolio and established strong relationships with winery partners and key trade personnel. Before becoming engrossed in the wine industry, Scott spent seven years in advertising sales for Comcast and Viacom. He entered the wine world as Marketing Director for TGIC Importers prior to joining F. Korbel & Brothers’ fine wine division, Heck Estates, in 2006. As Brand Manager for Heck Estates, Scott developed the first brand repositioning in 25 years for two historic California brands. Scott’s work experience is complemented with the foundation of a degree in accounting from the University of Colorado along with multiple trade certifications including Society of Wine Educators’ Certified Specialist of Wine, French Wine Society’s Bordeaux Master Level, WSET Level 2 and The Culinary Institute of America’s Certified Wine Professional. He is energetic and always ready with new ideas to help advance the company even further. Scott lives in St. Helena, California with his wife of nine years and their two young boys.
