Scott Diaz Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management

Scott Diaz is Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management for Wilson Daniels. Scott joined the company in 2008 as a brand manager and managed twenty-seven brands over his first four years with the company. In 2012 he was selected by founder Jack Daniels to lead the marketing team. Since then he has developed strategic marketing plans that have enhanced brand awareness and increased sales for some of the most esteemed wineries in the world. Most recently he has been a part of the senior management team that has led the company to five years of dynamic growth. Scott started in the wine industry as marketing director for Guarachi Wine Partners and then brand manager for F. Korbel & Brothers’ fine wine division Heck Estates. As brand manager for Heck Estates, Scott developed revolutionary brand repositioning for two historic California brands. Before his time in the wine industry, Scott spent seven years in advertising sales for Comcast and Viacom. Scott has a degree in accounting from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business. He has multiple trade certifications including Society of Wine Educators’ Certified Specialist of Wine, French Wine Society’s Bordeaux Master Level, WSET Level 2 and The Culinary Institute of America’s Certified Wine Professional.
