This focused, light-to-medium bodied red offers a medley of steeped black cherry, tangy blackberry and apricot notes flanked with tea, cedar and anise elements. A vivid hint of rosewater defines the long finish.

A smoky and luxurious barrel scent introduces this wine, woven in harmony with the rose overtones of the fruit. The wine is powerful and gracious, blackberry flavors filling the tannic extract.

Champ du Cour is a windy single-vineyard sited on typical granite/clay soils. Very attractive violet and peony aromas with intense dark berry and cherry fruit on the palate, backed up with brisk acidity. Refined, elegant Moulin-à-Vent with character but also a lot of class. Slightly grainy tannins suggest a few months in bottle will reap further rewards.

Deep ruby. Powerful, spice-accented dark berry and cherry aromas are complicated by suggestions of musky earth, mocha and violet. Densely packed and expansive on the palate, spicy lift to the appealingly sweet bitter cherry, blackberry and floral pastille flavors. Finishes very long and chewy, with dusty tannins building slowly.

Shimmering ruby. Powerful blackberry, cherry and licorice aromas are complicated by suggestions of smoky minerals and violet. Well-concentrated and broad in the mouth, offering bitter cherry and dark berry flavors enlivened by a snap of cracked pepper. Slowly building tannins frame the finish, which lingers with very good, dark-fruit driven persistence.

A sumptuous, wonderfully expressive wine. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, licorice and spice all flesh out in a racy Beaujolais endowed with terrific richness. The 2018 can be enjoyed now, but it also has the richness to age gracefully in the cellar for years to come.

A selection from the three top vineyards in the estate, this wine is rich and still young. Serious tannins give the wine structure. Partial oak aging adds richness and spice, improving the potential for aging.

A 13-acre vineyard near the top of the Moulin-à-Vent slope has produced this dense and rich wine. Powerful tannins and black plum and cherry fruits are developing, but still young.

Deep dark ruby. Multifaceted bouquet of black raspberry and red cherry complemented by hints of exotic spices. Fresh and juicy on the attack with dark red fruit and a sweet kiss of red berries showing on a succulent, lush palate. Nicely refined character with significant purity and round tannins. Sourced from a 65 year old 5 hectare parcel growing above the windmill in sandy, granitic soils. Fermented 25% whole cluster and matured 12 months in almost all used oak followed by 6 months in stainless steel.

Made from the extremely low yielding (1 ton/acre) 2017 vintage, the Couvent des Thorins offers a dark fruited nose of dark berry and cherry with an light earthy note. The aromas carry over to the nicely integrated, medium plus weight palate. Savory tones lend complexity, and the finish is fresh with fine grained tannins. Made from hand harvested fruit from estate vineyards, about 20 percent whole bunches from older (40+ years) vines. Aged 16 months in stainless steel.

The light tannins are beautifully textured and encase vivid raspberry and currant flavors matched with woody spice, licorice and floral details. Undertones of mineral and spice sail through the tangy finish. Drink now through 2026.
