Ravera Barolo DOCG – 2011 – 93 points – International Wine Report
93 points

“The 2011 ‘Ravera’ is a bit more serious than the ‘Casina Nouva’ with more depth and character. It opens with aromas of red berries and cherries followed by spices, rose petals, mint, eucalyptus, licorice and hints of cocoa powder. It possesses a remarkable structure built around a fine, silky texture with lovely finesse. The finish shows excellent length as it firms up and grips a firm hold. This will need some additional time on bottle before it begins to show its best.”
