Winemaking

Clos Pegase wines reflect Jan’s appreciation of revered winemaking traditions as well as contemporary practices. The vineyards are entirely estate-owned and operated, which allows the winery complete control over viticultural integrity. The winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. In all instances, the wines age gracefully in 20,000 square feet of natural stone caves dug into the knoll, and as in antiquity, free of air conditioner vibration, enjoying perfect year-round temperature and humidity.
