Clos Pegase Winery

Clos Pegase Winery is a temple for wine, architecture and art founded by Jan Shrem and his late beloved wife, Mitsuko, who purchased a 50-acre vineyard with a rock knoll in 1983. The winery was designed by Michael Graves and has received world-wide acclaim. Clos Pegase wines reflect Jan’s appreciation of revered winemaking traditions as well as contemporary practices. The vineyards are entirely estate-owned and operated, which allows the winery complete control over viticultural integrity. The winery produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. In all instances, the wines age gracefully in 20,000 square feet of natural stone caves dug into the knoll.
"Clos Pegase has turned into one of the most dependably exciting, multi-varietal wineries in Napa Valley…"
